Imagine if your arches collapse—it can make your pelvis tilt forward, which increases the curve in your lower back. This puts extra strain on your back muscles and ligaments. Footprints: Wet your feet and stand on a piece of paper. If your footprint shows little to no arch, you might have flat feet. If the arch is very narrow, you could have high arches.
